Website Terms of Use
The rules for reading hearso.com. Playing Hearso is covered by the Platform Terms. Last updated .
What these terms cover
These terms apply when you visit hearso.com and read its pages: the front page, pricing, case studies, guides, the docs, the writing, the changelog, the roadmap and the status page. By using the site you agree to them.
Creating an account, joining a room and playing a round are covered by the Platform Terms instead, which say more because more is at stake. Where the two disagree about the product, the Platform Terms win.
Using the site
You may read, link to and share any page on this site. Please do not do anything that gets in the way of other people doing the same.
- Do not try to break into, overload or probe the site or the systems behind it.
- Do not scrape it with bots faster than a person could read it, or get around the rate limits and bot checks on its forms and sign-in.
- Do not use it to send anything unlawful, or to pretend to be Hearso or someone else.
What belongs to whom
Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome. Copying pages, the Hearso name, the mark or the design wholesale is not.
Trivia questions, jokes and prompts are there to be played, not republished as a set.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to sites we do not run, such as the tools we build with or articles we cite. We link to them because we think they are useful, but we do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.
No promises about the site itself
We work to keep the site accurate and available. We still cannot promise that every page is complete, current or free of mistakes, or that the site will always be up. The Disclaimer says more about what the content on this site is and is not.
Changes, and questions
When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
Questions about these terms go through the contact page.
