Fair and fast
Fair speed scoring: a quick right answer earns more, and every phone, tablet and laptop in the room plays the same round at the same moment.
A high-level look at the experiences we are shaping next. Priorities can move as we learn from squads, and we only mark something shipped when players can use it.
Fair speed scoring: a quick right answer earns more, and every phone, tablet and laptop in the room plays the same round at the same moment.
A trusted global leaderboard, plus a board for your squad by day and by week. Every score is checked before it counts, and a score the board turns away for a moment is sent again rather than dropped.
One place to see live rooms your squad is running, jump into one, or start your own, without passing a code around first. Rooms have names and lobby timers, and the Live page keeps an up-to-date list of the open ones.
Add friends, see who is around, and turn the people you play with most into your next room invite.
Team rituals that people look forward to. Sound, confetti, rematches and a crowned squad of the week are already in; next we want to make the week itself feel like an event.
Live games that respond the moment anyone answers, on any connection. The new engine is built and running beside the current one, and we will move rooms over gradually, starting with our own, only once it is better in every case we can measure.
Every finished game is written down the moment it ends, so a score can always be delivered later, never lost and never counted twice. Built, and being proven before it carries real games.
A public status page shows whether each part of Hearso is working right now and how it has done over time, and we can follow a problem through a game without knowing who played it.
Set your squad's time, share one link, and the next round is waiting at the hour you chose. If nobody plays it twice, you have lost one round and learned something.
With your permission, we measure how you use Hearso (pages, buttons, your display name, your squad's name and your games) and record sessions and click heatmaps of how pages are used. We never send your first name, last name, email, phone number or passwords to analytics, and recordings hide them. You can change this in Settings after signing in. Hearso also keeps anonymous totals of rounds, players, and live rooms without this permission; see the player guide.
