Team rituals
A short menu of recurring things that do not need an organiser, with the cost of each.
Daily
Cheap enough to survive a busy week. If a daily ritual takes more than five minutes it will be the first thing dropped.
- A question of the day, answered in your own time.
- A short game with a shared score.
- One line on what you are working on — not a status report, a signal of presence.
Weekly
Weekly rituals can be slightly more expensive, because they recur rarely enough to stay interesting.
- A close: who won, what shipped, what is carried over.
- A rotating spotlight on one person's work — chosen at random, never volunteered.
- A single shared recommendation: a link, a read, a thing that was good.
Monthly and rarer
This is where the expensive, everyone-at-once things belong. Rare enough to be worth coordinating, frequent enough that people remember them.
